The sports meet was declared open by the chief guest and began with an Invocation song by the school children followed by drill, and other events.

A display of team spirit was shown by the five Houses Karthigesu, Sabapathy, Sabaratnam, Nagalingam, Chelliah

The sports meet had another guest of honour, Mrs.Sarveswary Srikanthan, whose distributed prizes and encouraged the children.
